Administers production control, inventory control, shipping and receiving of materials. Checks parts and materials for damage and verifies quantity, part number, and serial number of shipped items. Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items. Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices. Uses experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience.Administers production control, inventory control, shipping and receiving of materials and supports the Material Requirements Planning effort. Records and prepares multiple status reports (See below). Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts of controlling capital project material at the ISO / Drawing level. Coordinates with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering to ensure proper scheduling and movement of goods and supplies. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.Types of reports the candidate will be responsible for : Job Balance Reports, Buildability Reports (Fabrication & Erection), IPMS Procurement Status Report, Open Requisition Report along with numerous other reports.Requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.Preferred Candidate will have EPC Capital Project Field experience.User must have strong MS Excel and MS Access skills.Prefer a candidate with Integrated Project Management System (IPMS) experience.Skills Required
