Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Sales Consultant, located in Bengaluru. The role involves understanding client needs, offering personalized design consultations, and providing tailored interior design solutions. The consultant will also engage in client communication, ensure customer satisfaction, and guide the entire sales process, from inquiry to project completion. Building strong client relationships and working collaboratively with the design team are key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales and Business Development :
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve monthly targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed goals.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Client Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
Provide personalized design solutions and product recommendations.
Address client inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
Product Knowledge and Support :
Stay updated on the latest trends and products in interior design and furnishings.
Educate clients on product features, benefits, and applications.
Assist in managing inventory levels and ensure the showroom is well-presented.
Sales Administration :
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and follow up on leads.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required.
Team Collaboration :
Collaborate with the design team to ensure client requirements are met.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall sales strategies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the interior design or furnishings industry.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
