About the role :
As part of the Analyst Studio team at ThoughtSpot, you’ll help shape the future of how data teams transform raw information into actionable intelligence. Analyst Studio is a collaborative data platform that empowers users to seamlessly prepare data for AI, perform ad hoc analysis, and manage data and costs all within a single, integrated experience.
In this role, you’ll contribute to building and scaling the platform’s core capabilities, including data preparation for AI, integrated analytics workflows, advanced analytics with R and Python notebooks, and data management and cost optimisation. Your work will directly impact how organisations turn complex data into meaningful insights and business outcomes.
What you'll do :
- Development of complex projects in Java, postgreSQL, SQS, Dynamo DB
- Design and implement scalable backend systems that process and manage large volumes of customer data
- Analyse and improve the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our backend stack
- Write robust code and write functional, performance, and system test suites
- Utilise AWS services to build robust cloud-based solutions
- Work as a member of a team, helping the team respond quickly and effectively to business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality products
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges
- Stay current with AI trends and incorporate them into our solutions
What you bring :
4+ years of professional experience in software engineeringProficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principlesExperience with relational databasesExperience working with NoSQL database patternsExperience building distributed and scalable systemsAwareness of message queuing systemsStrong grasp of software engineering best practicesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issuesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications :
Experience working on cloud platform like AWSKnowledge of agile development methodologiesExperience with Dropwizard for building RESTful APIsFamiliarity with DuckDB for analytical queries
