Job descriptionCurrently pursuing B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in at least one backend language : Python, Ruby, Node.js, or Golang. Familiarity with databases (SQL / NoSQL), APIs, and server-side concepts. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Replit, Windsurf, etc.) is preferred.
About the Company : Medikloud is an AI HMS SaaS platform that streamlines hospital workflows. We are actively seeking talented Backend Development Interns to join our team in Visakhapatnam. If you’re proficient in backend programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Golang and have a passion for software development, this internship is for you.
About the Role : As a Backend Intern at Medikloud, you will work alongside our experienced team, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of backend systems. This internship offers hands-on experience with databases, APIs, authentication, deployment workflows, and server-side logic in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with developers to design, implement, and maintain backend systems and applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, Ruby, Node.js, or Golang.
- Work on database design & interactions, server-side logic, and API development (REST / GraphQL).
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards & best practices.
- Contribute to team discussions, sharing insights and problem-solving approaches.
Qualifications :
Pay range and compensation package : Full-time is preferred. Outstanding interns will receive a letter of recommendation, PPO.
