Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description :

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing the cost estimation process, including assessing quantities, pricing materials, and ensuring that cost estimates are accurate and aligned with project specifications. This role involves overseeing the work of quantity surveyors and collaborating with other departments to ensure that project costs are controlled and competitive.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the quantity surveying process for projects, ensuring that all quantities and material costs are accurately assessed.
• Review and validate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary data for cost estimation.
• Oversee and mentor junior quantity surveyors, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of their work.
• Prepare final cost reports and support the estimation manager in presenting estimates to senior management and clients.
