Job Title : Senior iOS Developer.

Experience : 5+ years.

Work Mode : Remote.

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior iOS Developer with a strong focus on accessibility to join our team on a 5-month contract.

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our iOS applications are accessible, inclusive, and compliant with WCAG 2.0+ standards.

Youll work hands-on with accessibility tools and technologies such as VoiceOver, and leverage both UIKit and SwiftUI accessibility APIs to enhance user experience for all users.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive design and ready to lead accessibility initiatives across a modern iOS codebase.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement accessibility features aligned with WCAG 2.0+ guidelines throughout the software lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile / Scrum environments to deliver features, fix bugs, and improve overall accessibility.
Attend regular status meetings to report progress, blockers, and raise accessibility-related concerns.
Provide mentorship and support to other developers in implementing accessibility features and best practices.
Offer strategic guidance and technical support on inclusive design and mobile accessibility standards.

Must-Have Qualifications :

3+ years of hands-on experience with iOS VoiceOver and accessibility APIs in UIKit and SwiftUI.

Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0+) and assistive technologies.

Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in remote / hybrid teams.

Self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

5+ years of iOS development experience using SwiftUI, ViewModels, and MVVM architecture.

3+ years of experience in UI / UX design with a focus on accessibility.

Proficiency with git version control systems, including branching and merging workflows.

2+ years of experience with video / audio playback and FairPlay DRM.

Experience integrating and working with REST APIs and GraphQL services.

Prior experience in mentorship or technical leadership is a plus.
