Job description

Experience – 8 to 12 years

Location – Pune, Chennai

Notice Period– Immediate to 15 days

Key Skillset Required

Domain Expertise – Strong knowledge of asset custody, corporate actions, securities servicing, and regulations
Custody settlement - FO (Trade Booking, Trade Execution), BO (Trade settlement & clearing)
Technical Knowledge – Understanding of custody systems, APIs, and integrations, Basic SQL
Communication Skills – Ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
Analytical Thinking – Ability to analyze trends, customer feedback, and system performance for data-driven decisions.
Swift messages (Preferrable) - Settlement Instruction (MT540 -MT543), Settlement confirmation (MT544-MT547), Statement holdings (MT535-MT537)

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Understanding Business Needs & Requirements

Collaborate with business stakeholders (Product, Risk, Operations) to gather custody service requirements.

Stay updated on custody industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, digital assets).

2. Defining Product Vision & Roadmap

Develop and maintain product vision & strategy to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability.

Prioritize features based on business value, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements.

Align short-term and long-term roadmap with strategic business goals.

3. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance

Ensure adherence to SEC, MiFID II, FATCA, AML, and other industry regulations.

Work with risk teams to identify and mitigate operational risks in custody services.

4. Managing Backlog & Requirements

Maintain and prioritize product backlog with key features and technical improvements.

Write clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work with development teams to ensure alignment with product goals and compliance needs.

Partner with UX / UI teams to enhance the user experience in custody processes.

Support operations & support teams with documentation, training, and troubleshooting.

6. Client & Stakeholder Communication

Present product updates, new features, and roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders.

7. Driving Innovation & Technology Advancements

Explore emerging technologies like blockchain and AI for custody solutions.

Lead initiatives to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
