  • At Burns & McDonnell India (BMI OGC), youll be joining the ranks of our Piping Design & Engineering team. Youll report to department & functional managers, The engineering design of projects spanning across sectors such as Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Renewable Fuels, Decarbonization, and Carbon Capture. And these projects arent limited to a local scale; they are positioned globally, reflecting our worldwide impact. Youll be a part of our vibrant Oil, Gas, and Chemicals (OGC) Global Practice, a thriving collective of around 500 professionals. This dynamic group lives and breathes engineering, procurement, and construction projects across various industries - Refining, Midstream & Logistics, Petrochemical, and Chemicals. Role & Responsibilities :

  • Create accurate 3D piping model & layout using SP3D software
  • 3D Modelling of piping layouts for equipment like static equipment, pump, heat exchanger, vertical vessel, Column, PSV system
  • Review 3D model and isometrics as per quality standards
  • Understand methods of design, fabrication, and operation of engineered features within discipline, including selection of appropriate piping and valve material
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of design iterations and changes
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
  • Understand project requirements and complete all duties assigned needed for the project and department development

    • Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / ITI certification from an accredited program
  • 10 to 25 years of piping design experience in Oil & Gas domain
  • Must be proficient in SP3D
  • hand on experience of LFM, E3D, CADWorx preferred
  • AutoCAD skill will be an added advantage
