Roles & Responsibilities :

• 2 to 4 years professional experience building WordPress websites and plugins.
• Write clean, well-designed code and follow industry best practices.
• Build and maintain WordPress themes and custom plugins following WordPress coding standards and best practices.
• Implement new site features, page templates, blocks (Gutenberg), custom post types, taxonomies and REST API endpoints.
• Debug, profile and optimize performance (database queries, front-end assets, caching strategies).
• Ensure security best practices : sanitize / escape inputs, correct capability checks, protect against common vulnerabilities.
• Migrate and upgrade WordPress sites (core, themes, plugins) and resolve related compatibility issues.
• Integrate WordPress with third-party services (payment gateways, CRMs, analytics, OAuth, etc.
• Develop and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms.
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
• Participate in the complete web application / product development lifecycle from conceptualization and design to development, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.
