About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Strategist to join our team. This role would require someone who can lead our end-to-end social media strategy - from content creation to performance marketing, to creating socal capital for the brand through creative strategy. This role needs someone who understands culture, owns creativity, executes with speed, and can drive brand presence and measurable growth across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Planning

Build platform-wise strategies for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others

Plan monthly content calendars aligned with brand objectives.

Identify cultural moments, trends, and conversations to plug into.

2. Content Creation & Creative Ownership

Own ideation, scripting, and production of high-quality social media content.

Ability to shoot videos independently (mobile-first) and create engaging reels.

Basic video editing skills.

Write compelling copy, hooks, captions, and storytelling scripts for all formats.

Design basic creatives using Canva.

3. Performance Marketing (Meta & Google)

Plan, execute & optimize Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram).

Manage Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max).

Track campaign performance, ROAS, CAC, CTR, and use insights to refine strategy.

Work closely with growth teams to integrate paid + organic efforts.

4. Creator & Community Management

Manage end-to-end influencer collaborations, shortlisting, negotiations, briefing, deliveries & performance tracking.

Build strong relationships with creators across categories.

Engage with the community across platforms and nurture conversations.

5. Cross-functional Coordination

Coordinate with internal teams (design, content, product) for smooth execution.

Liaise with external agencies for performance marketing, creative development, and production support.

6. IP & Campaign Ownership

Conceptualize and own digital IPs — series, show formats, recurring content properties.

Lead campaigns from idea → execution → performance analysis.

Manage timelines, approvals, and overall project delivery.

7. Reporting & Insights

Track analytics, weekly platform performance, and derive insights for improvement.

Prepare monthly reports on content performance, ads, and creator ROI.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy.

Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

Experience with Meta Business Manager & Google Ads Manager is a must.

Ability to shoot and edit videos independently.

Understanding of digital trends, meme culture, and audience psychology.

Strong communication skills — written & verbal.

Basic design skills using Canva (advanced design skills are a plus).

Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple projects.

Good to Have

Experience with influencer campaigns.

Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Insights, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics).

Ability to think culturally and bring fresh ideas.
