About the Role
The Interior Designer (FF&E Specialist) will handle the design, selection, and coordination of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment for company projects. The role combines creativity with practical knowledge to ensure all interior elements are well-designed, cost-effective, and meet the project’s aesthetic and functional goals.
Responsibilities
Design & Concept Development
- Develop interior concepts, color schemes, and material boards.
- Prepare FF&E layouts, specifications, and schedules for approval.
- Coordinate design intent with the architecture consultants and in house studio.
Material Selection & Vendor Coordination
Source and evaluate suitable furniture, lighting, fabrics, and accessories.Liaise with vendors for samples, pricing, and mock-ups.Support procurement in cost comparison and purchase finalization.Project Coordination
Oversee delivery and installation of FF&E items at site.Check finishes, quality, and alignment with approved designs.Maintain timelines and coordinate with project and site teams.Documentation & Quality
Prepare BOQs, costing sheets, and material data sheets.Keep record of vendor details, warranties, and material samples.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Furniture Design / Architecture.8–15 years of experience in interior design, preferably in FF&E.Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and detailing.Required Skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Excel, and Photoshop.Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and detailing.Preferred Skills
Experience in FF&E.
