Job Title : Senior Developer – Kubernetes & OpenShift

Experience : 7–10 Years

Location : Pune (Hybrid)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer with deep expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift , and containerized application development . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing microservices-based applications in a cloud-native environment. The role requires a strong background in DevOps, CI / CD automation, and cloud infrastructure (Azure / AWS / GCP) .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
  • Implement containerization best practices using Docker and Helm charts .
  • Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps .
  • Monitor and optimize cluster performance, scalability, and reliability .
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Manage service mesh, networking, and security policies within Kubernetes environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, scaling, and orchestration issues .
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools .
  • Stay updated with container orchestration trends and open-source technologies .

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 7–10 years of total IT experience with strong hands-on exposure to Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Proficiency in Docker , Helm , YAML scripting , and container lifecycle management .
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, Operators, CRDs, and APIs .
  • Experience with CI / CD tools – Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP .
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform , Ansible , or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go preferred).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture , API gateways , and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) .
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

    • Good to Have :

  • Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
  • Familiarity with security and compliance in container environments.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and policy-as-code (OPA, Kyverno).
