OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the resilience of our IT infrastructure. This position is vital for maintaining the continuity of enterprise critical I / S services and work processes. The successful candidate will lead disaster recovery requirements gathering, recommend recovery strategies, and facilitate the implementation of recovery solutions. This role supports the architecting of the disaster recovery solution, testing, scope, planning, communications, and test facilitation.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead disaster recovery requirements gathering and recommend BCMDR strategies and options.
• Create the HLD / LLD / TRG documents.
• Execute and support the enterprise IT Disaster Recovery and I / S Crisis process.
• Facilitate the implementation of recovery solutions.
• Develop and implement business recovery plans and procedures; review, revise, and expand existing plans and protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze the potential impact of business interruptions.
• Align IT organization priorities with key business objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and implement recovery operations and methods.
• Create and facilitate practice drills for plan execution.
• Develop and track program metrics to show activities and progress.
• Review, configure, and maintain business continuity and crisis management tools.
• Coordinate with health, safety, and security staff and external agencies to align emergency management plans.
• Manage response coordination and communications during business disruptions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
