We're not looking for a designer. We're looking for a visual storyteller who gets it.
Here's the situation : Brown Folk Media LLP is a filmmaker-led content company that builds communities through stories that actually matter. We're not here to make another "engaging post" or "boost brand awareness" (yawn). We're here to create content that turns viewers into community members and brands into movements.
We need a graphic designer who can keep up with our ambition—and occasionally laugh at our fumbles on the way!.
What you'll actually do : Design visual identities for original content series that make people stop scrolling
Create brand assets that tell stories, not just look pretty
Work alongside filmmakers and storytellers who care deeply about craft
Design for communities, not just audiences (yes, there's a difference)
Bring ideas to the table, not just execute briefs
Collaborate on projects where "good enough" isn't in our vocabulary
You're the right person if : Your portfolio makes us feel something (and not just "meh")
You understand that design is storytelling with fewer words
You can defend your creative choices without getting defensive
You're fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and can navigate Figma like it's your second home
You believe typography matters (and kerning is not a suggestion)
You're excited about working with purpose-driven brands and social impact projects
You can handle feedback like a pro and give it like a friend
Bonus points for : Understanding community-building psychology
Motion graphics skills (because static is so 2019)
A weird hobby that makes you interesting at lunch
Experience with brand identity systems
Actually reading this entire post
What we offer : High production standards and creative autonomy
Projects with purpose-driven organizations and community-focused brands
A small team where your work directly impacts the company's direction
Room to develop your craft and grow your skill set
The real talk : This isn't a 9-to-5 where you clock in, push pixels, and clock out. We work on projects that require you to care. If you're looking for "just a job," this ain't it. But if you want to create work that builds communities and tells stories that resonate—work you'll proudly share years from now—let's talk.
Location : Hyderabad (In-office, because great work happens when great people collaborate)
To apply : Send your portfolio and a brief note (not a cover letter template, please) telling us about a design project you're genuinely proud of and why. Include your expected salary range.
