Role Purpose
ACG Sports is looking to hire Head of Operations to build and lead a best-in-class player and people experience across the league and HPC. This role ensures our athletes and corporate staff operate in an environment of trust, care, discipline, and professionalism while overseeing the physical infrastructure and services that support high performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. People & Culture (Players + Corporate)
- Develop and execute the people strategy for both athletes and staff, tailored to a fast-paced sports ecosystem.
- Lead and guide HR policy design around contracts, onboarding, travel, off-days, family access, leave, discipline, and grievance redressal.
- Champion athlete-centric policies that balance high-performance standards with emotional and physical well-being.
- Partner with legal and finance to ensure clarity in employment terms, retention bonuses, and seasonal settlements.
2. Player Welfare & Morale
Set up and monitor systems for tracking morale, wellness, and behavioral trends.Build a multidisciplinary support framework—mental health, nutrition, mentorship, physiotherapy, and performance coaching.Drive rituals that reinforce team identity, values, and accountability.Ensure culturally sensitive and inclusive practices across gender, language, and region.3. Talent Development & Learning
Define and manage career development pathways for both players (post-league / academy) and corporate staff.Facilitate internal and external mentoring programs, guest speakers, and exposure opportunities.Set up continued learning systems for coaches, managers, and backroom staff.4. HPC Facility Oversight
Own day-to-day management and readiness of the High-Performance Centre.Oversee the set-up and maintenance of player dormitories, common areas, recovery zones, gym, and all related infrastructure.Ensure timely provisioning and high-quality delivery of food and nutrition services, set up cafeteria operations, hygiene SOPs, vendor contracts, and menu planning in line with nutritionist recommendations.Build and manage operations teams for housekeeping, maintenance, and security in partnership with Ops Head.Ensure athlete movement, access, and visitor protocols are secure and smoothly managed.5. Stakeholder & Crisis Management
Act as the central point of contact for family concerns, escalated disputes, or behavioral issues.Create high trust across all levels—players, staff, families, and owners.Serve as the internal ombudsman when needed and ensure fair resolution processes are followed.Last Date to apply - 10th November, 2025
