About the Role :
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Executive to manage day-to-day IT operations, including hardware troubleshooting, internet / network support, and assisting new joiners during onboarding. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a service-oriented attitude, and the ability to resolve issues quickly to ensure smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities :
IT Support & Troubleshooting :
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals).
- Manage and troubleshoot internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, LAN, routers, and network-related issues.
- Install, upgrade, and configure computer software, operating systems, and applications.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and security checks.
New Joinee Onboarding :
Set up workstations for new employees (laptop / desktop setup, software installation, email configuration, access creation).Provide IT orientation for new hires (tools access, login setup, best practices).Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure allocation documentation.System & Network Management :
Ensure smooth functioning of internet, VPN, firewall, and internal networks.Manage user accounts, passwords, and security permissions.Coordinate with external vendors / ISPs for quick issue resolution when required.Documentation & Reporting :
Maintain IT logs : issue tracker, hardware allocation records, system updates, etc.Prepare reports on recurring issues and suggest improvements.Manage asset inventory : laptops, chargers, keyboards, accessories, etc.Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.0.6–2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and system configuration.Basic understanding of networking (LAN / WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi).Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and basic security tools.Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.Ability to multitask and resolve issues efficiently.Good problem-solving and customer service attitude.Key Skills :
