Job Overview :
The Sales Executive will drive the growth of the retail business within the assigned territory, focusing on building and managing a robust contractor / Carpentor network and engaging key influencers. This role involves achieving set commercial targets and ensuring the smooth execution of market strategies and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the assigned territory.
Develop and implement dealer-level plans to meet business objectives and work proactively towards target achievement.
Expand the contractor network by on boarding new contractors and boosting engagement.
Address and resolve contractor queries promptly to maintain strong, productive relationships.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product, service, and promotional material availability for contractors.
Conduct Mini Carpenter Meets (MCMs) to support secondary sales initiatives.
Foster strong client relationships to promote long-term business growth.
Provide senior management with detailed sales reports and market analyses, offering strategic growth recommendations.
Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to successful closure.
Prepare and submit regular performance and client interaction reports.
Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
Candidate Requirements :
Min Graduate.
Minimum of 1 years of experience in the plywood, hardware, laminate, or adhesive industry.
Strong experience in the Local market and contractor / carpenter network
Proficient in Regional Language
Willingness to work across different locations within State.
Proven experience in dealer network management and carpenter / contractor influencer programs is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage commercial objectives.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in tools like CRM software and Microsoft Excel.
Candidate Background Requirement
The ideal candidate must have solid retail channel and trade sales experience (1 - 2years exp), preferably in the hardware, plywood, laminate.
We are specifically looking for profiles that have worked with companies in the building materials, hardware, or plywood / laminate sectors
The candidate must have :
Strong connections in the retail and distributor / trade channel
Experience in lead generation through contractors, carpenters, and retail counters
A deep understanding of the local market dynamics and dealer / distributor management
