We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Linux system administration , Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) , and a solid understanding of Telecom OSS / BSS systems . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions that support telecom-grade applications and services.
Responsibilities :
- VM provisioning, network configuration, firewall rules.
- Support DR replication and testing.
- Maintain monitoring dashboards (Grafana / OEM).
- Perform OS hardening and patching.
Core Infrastructure :
7–10 years of experience in Linux system administration (RedHat, Oracle Linux, or CentOS) .3+ years of hands-on experience with OLVM or oVirt , and KVM virtualization.Strong scripting skills in Bash / Shell ; exposure to Python is a plus.Experience with system performance tuning, log analysis, and infrastructure monitoring tools.Telecom OSS / BSS Domain :
Hands-on experience supporting or deploying OSS / BSS platforms (e.g., provisioning, fault management, billing, mediation).Familiarity with NMS , EMS , or telecom-grade service assurance / fulfillment systems.Understanding of telecom protocols and standards (e.g., SNMP, SOAP, Diameter, REST APIs).Key Responsibilities :
Design, deploy, and manage Linux-based infrastructure (RedHat / Oracle Linux / CentOS).Install, configure, and manage virtualization platforms, primarily OLVM (Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager) and KVM .Maintain high availability and performance of critical telecom OSS / BSS systems.Automate routine infrastructure tasks using Shell / Bash scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).Collaborate with telecom domain teams to understand application infrastructure needs (e.g., mediation, charging, billing systems).Troubleshoot hardware / software issues related to server infrastructure, virtualization, and network configurations.Work closely with cross-functional teams including Network Operations, Application Support, and DevOps to ensure system reliability and performance.Ensure system security and apply patches, updates, and system hardening as required.Perform capacity planning, system tuning, and resource optimization.Support DR (Disaster Recovery) planning, backup, and recovery processes.Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
