Key Responsibilities :
Patient Assessment :
- Evaluate patient history and medical condition before procedures.
- Assess anesthesia risks and explain the anesthesia plan.
Anesthesia Planning & Administration :
Formulate tailored anesthesia plans based on the procedure and patient health.Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia using appropriate techniques and dosages.Intraoperative Monitoring :
Continuously monitor vital signs (heart rate, BP, oxygen saturation, etc.).Adjust anesthesia levels as required to maintain patient stability.Emergency Management :
Promptly respond to any complications or adverse reactions during surgery.Implement life-saving interventions when needed.Postoperative Pain Management :
Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia.Provide pain control strategies to ensure post-operative comfort.Interdisciplinary Collaboration :
Work closely with surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff.Ensure coordinated and safe patient care throughout the surgical journey.Documentation & Compliance :
Maintain detailed records of anesthesia provided, patient vitals, and outcomes.Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and medical regulations.Continual Learning & Development :
Stay updated on anesthesia practices, technology, and safety protocols.Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, and professional development.Skills Required
