About the Role
We are seeking experienced Structural Design Engineers with strong expertise in 3D modeling and detailed structural design for power plant and industrial projects. This role involves creating structural models, arrangement drawings, and fabrication packages using tools like Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit, Advance Steel, and STAAD.Pro , while ensuring compliance with global codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 3D Civil & Structural design for power plant structures and BOP scopes.
- Create 3D models in Trimble Tekla , Autodesk Revit , and Advance Steel .
- Generate structural arrangement drawings and civil inputs based on 3D models.
- Conduct clash checks and coordinate with piping, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC teams.
- Design large plant modules (prefabricated, transportable) including primary and secondary steel.
- Perform STAAD modeling, analysis, and detailing for HRSG and station buildings.
- Design foundations for boiler structures and pipe racks .
- Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) , BOM, fabrication instructions, and erection drawings.
- Ensure compliance with IS, AISC, EN codes for structural design, wind, seismic, welding, and fasteners.
Technical Skills Required
Expertise in Plant Engineering , 3D modeling for steel and RCC structures , and detailed design drawings .Proficiency in Tekla Structures , Autodesk Revit , Advance Steel , STAAD.Pro , AutoCAD , MicroStation .Knowledge of structural codes : IS, AISC, EN, ACI .Strong understanding of fabrication packages , construction documentation , and transport plans .Qualifications
Degree in Civil Engineering (BE / BTech).3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in structural design and detailing for industrial or EPC projects.
