Role Overview
We are on the hunt for an Associate Medical Writer eager to turn science into narrative gold. If you’re fascinated by the challenge of translating data into compelling stories and want to learn from leaders in medical communications, this could be your next adventure.
As an Associate Medical Writer, you will :
- Support the senior members with the development of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and other scientific deliverables for peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Collaborate with senior writers, researchers, and clients to transform complex data into clear, engaging messages
- Assist with literature searches, background research, and data review to ensure accuracy and scientific integrity
- Embrace feedback and mentorship, knowing that growth (and great writing) thrive on curiosity and collaboration
- Help maintain the highest standards of quality, compliance, and creative thinking—because at SciVoc, every detail matters and every narrative counts
- Assist with project management and quality-check-related activities
- Comfortable working different time shifts in UK / EU / EST / APAC time zones
Skills Required :
A graduate degree (MSc, MPH, PharmD, or related field) in life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, or medicine (PhD an asset, but not required)1–3 years of medical writing (or related research / writing) experience—enthusiastic newcomers welcome!Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a curiosity for translating science into accessible storiesKeen eye for detail and a passion for clarity, accuracy, and evidence-based storytellingFamiliarity with literature searching, referencing software, and MS Office / Google Workspace toolsExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage timelines across multiple projectsWillingness to learn the ropes of publication guidelines and industry standards (ICMJE, GPP, CONSORT, AMA style)Collaborative spirit : You thrive in team settings and enjoy exchanging ideas with colleagues and clients
