Job Overview :

Position : Lead Backend Engineer

Location : Hyderabad (Global Capability Center with Aeries)

Shift : 12 PM 9 PM IST

Mode : Hybrid (with some travel possible)

This role involves working on high-impact, greenfield products for top global sports brands, building scalable systems from scratch, and shaping fan engagement worldwide.

Key Responsibilities :

Write clean, reusable, high-quality code and help define coding standards.
Lead technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.
Set up frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers.
Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering Managers to define scope and solutions.
Promote a blameless, continuous improvement culture.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies in sports tech.

Requirements :

8+ years software engineering experience.

Strong in C# & TypeScript (Node.js).

Database experience : MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

Exposure to a frontend framework Knowledge of software architecture & design patterns for scalable systems.

Familiarity with DevOps culture (CI / CD, automation, platform engineering).

Excellent communication & problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

Passion for sports and sports business.
