Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cyber Security professional to strengthen the organization's information security posture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security measures to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor network and system security through and maintenance of ISO 27001, NIST, or other security compliance frameworks.

Review and strengthen security controls across IT and OT environments.

Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business teams to ensure data protection and regulatory adherence.

Support in security audits, documentation, and training of employees on cybersecurity best practices.

Evaluate emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies and new security tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field.

3–6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, or incident response.

Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security principles.

Familiarity with tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), EDR, DLP, and vulnerability scanners.

Experience with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.

Understanding of security in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Relevant certifications preferred — CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
