ready-to-cook (RTC) and ready-to-eat (RTE) products across chicken and vegetarian categories.

partners with major QSR chains, retail brands, and export customers. Its new fully automatic Veg

Unit marks a strategic expansion into flatbreads, RTE rice, gravies, sauces, and frozen snacks,

reinforcing the brand’s commitment to innovation, automation, and consumer-focused product

development

2. Role Overview

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead the marketing and brand strategy for Chatha Foods

portfolio. This includes B2B, private label, institutional, retail, and export markets, with a strong

focus on brand creation, portfolio premiumization, and digital presence. The CMO will be

responsible for positioning Chatha Foods as a trusted and innovative food manufacturing brand

across India and international markets.

3. Key Responsibilities

A. Strategic Brand Leadership

  • Develop and execute a unified marketing strategy across RTC, RTE, Frozen Chicken and Veg

product categories.

  • Define the brand architecture (corporate, sub-brands, etc).
  • Drive consumer insights, category research, and positioning for both domestic and export
  • markets

  • Build brand equity through design, storytelling, and digital engagement.
  • B. Product & Portfolio Management

  • Partner with R&D and Operations to define go-to-market strategy for new launches
  • Lead product pricing, packaging, and channel differentiation (QSR, HoReCa, modern trade,
  • export).

  • Manage packaging artwork, KLD development, and compliance with FSSAI and export
  • norms.

    C. Sales & Channel Enablement

  • Collaborate with Sales Heads (Domestic & Export) to drive trade marketing programs and
  • channel activations.

  • Build distributor engagement programs, POS visibility, and B2B campaign support.
  • Implement category growth strategies for key accounts
  • D. Digital, Communication & PR

  • Develop a strong digital and content marketing strategy — website, social media, influencer
  • collaborations, and performance marketing.

  • Oversee corporate communication, press releases, investor-facing branding (post BSE
  • listing).

  • Strengthen employer branding and CSR-related visibility.
  • E. Analytics & ROI

  • Define marketing KPIs and ROI measurement frameworks.
  • Lead market intelligence and competitor benchmarking.
  • Present monthly performance dashboards to the leadership team.
  • 4. Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA in Marketing / Brand Management from a Tier 1 or 2 institute.
  • 15+ years of marketing leadership experience in FMCG / Food Manufacturing / QSR / Frozen
  • Foods sectors.

  • Proven track record in brand building, new product launches, and digital-led marketing.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience working cross-functionally with sales, R&D, and
  • operations teams

  • Portfolio Launches : On-time GTM execution, sales target achievement post-launch
  • Digital Marketing ROI : CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), engagement rate, lead conversion,
  • social reach.

  • Channel Impact : Sales uplift through trade programs, distributor satisfaction.
  • 7. Compensation Range

  • Base Salary : TBD
  • Variable Pay : 10–20% (based on KPIs and profitability)
  • Benefits : Car / allowance, relocation support
