Job description

Role Overview :

As a DevOps and Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building, optimizing and monitoring processes, ensuring high availability and scalability of our services. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and automation solutions that enhance our continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and maintain infrastructure health, performance, and security.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring systems for complete coverage.
  • Design and implement CI / CD pipelines to streamline the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing and code quality checks.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for routine tasks and processes.
  • Automate application and infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and trading teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely support for production issues.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of proven, hands-on experience working in a DevOps or automation-focused environment.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer. (Not required for freshers)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins) and version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker).
  • Basic understanding of networking, security, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CheckMk, Grafana, Custom Solutions).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Understanding of fintech regulatory requirements and best practices
