ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Java + Elasticsearch Engineer, you'll be part of a high-performing POD team developing scalable, cloud-native data solutions that power ESG analytics and real-time search capabilities. You'll build robust APIs, optimize data pipelines, and enhance system performance across GCP and Elasticsearch environments. This role offers the chance to work with modern technologies, contribute to sustainability-driven engineering, and grow within a collaborative, agile setup.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design scalable architecture and data models in collaboration with cross-functional teams;
• Build and maintain data pipelines integrating BigQuery with Elasticsearch;
• Develop and optimize API services (e.g., Nexa-Screener) for high-performance queries;
• Deliver minimal UI components for screening, query building, and backend integration;
• Conduct end-to-end testing, performance validation, deployment, and monitoring;
• Support scalable ESG data processing, real-time analytics, and robust search solutions aligned with sustainability initiatives.
