About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor to work with a YouTuber and transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality YouTube videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual flow, with an understanding of what makes content perform well on YouTube.

Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into polished, engaging YouTube videos.
Add transitions, captions, sound effects, and background music.
Trim and rearrange clips to maintain flow and viewer engagement.
Align the editing style with the YouTuber’s tone, personality, and content theme.
Deliver high-quality videos within given deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience editing YouTube or social media videos.

Strong proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).

Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm.

Creativity and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

Experience creating thumbnails or basic motion graphics.

Familiarity with YouTube trends and best practices (intros, hooks, retention techniques, etc.).
