Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Principal Officer role based in Kolkata. The Principal Officer will oversee regulatory compliance, develop internal policies, and ensure alignment with applicable financial laws and guidelines. They will lead the Compliance team, provide strategic input on regulatory matters, and act as the principal liaison with regulatory institutions. The role also includes responsibility for monitoring and reporting compliance-related issues, ensuring strong governance, and identifying potential risks to safeguard the organization's operations.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
• Strong expertise in strategic planning, policy development, and operational execution.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills to manage teams and engage with stakeholders effectively.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess risks and develop robust solutions.
• Experience with blockchain, cryptocurrency exchanges, or digital finance is beneficial.
• Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for compliance certifications.
