Graphic Design Manager

Indian Institute of Art & Design (IIAD) invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager / Manager -Graphic Design to join their Communications & Branding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, experiment with new ideas, and contribute to IIAD’s growing presence in the art and design education landscape.

Working Conditions :

Timings 09.00 am – 06.00 pm (Monday to Friday)

10.00 am - 05.00 pm (Saturday), 2 Saturdays off, Work from Office only

Job Location : South Delhi & Gurgaon, Sector 68.

Work Experience : 4-5 years in graphic design, with a focus on brand identity, social media, and digital marketing.

Education Qualification :

Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

4-5 years of hands-on experience in graphic design with a proven portfolio of work.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and basic motion design tools like After Effects.

Strong sense of visual storytelling, typography, and design systems.

Experience working with brand guidelines and evolving visual identities.

Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills :

Basic understanding of motion graphics and video editing.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Brand Consistency & Evolution :

Work within existing brand guidelines while identifying opportunities for evolving the brand’s visual identity.

Ensure all designs align with IIAD's brand ethos across digital, print, and social media platforms.

Design for Social Media :

Create compelling visuals for IIAD's social media channels, ensuring engaging and innovative designs that reflect current trends and appeal to the target audience.

Collaborate with the social media team to develop visual content calendars.

Project Management :

Lead projects independently from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery within stipulated deadlines.

Oversee design projects across various mediums including digital ads, promotional campaigns, print, and website graphics.

Mentoring & Leadership :

Guide and mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback to enhance their creative growth.

Review and approve junior designers' work to maintain quality and consistency in all deliverables.

Collaboration :

Work closely with cross-functional teams (copywriters, marketing, videographers) to develop integrated campaign designs.

Brainstorm and contribute to new ideas for design and communication strategies to elevate IIAD’s brand presence.

Design Balance & Attention to Detail :

Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all designs demonstrate an excellent sense of design balance, typography, colour schemes, and composition.

Graphic, Motion Graphics & Video :

Graphic, motion graphics and video content for IIAD’s social media channels, enhancing engagement and storytelling through multimedia.

Collaborate with the video production team when necessary for larger projects.

Understating of Print :

Should have a solid understanding of designing for print, including brochures, posters, banners, and other marketing collateral. Ensure that designs are print-ready with proper resolution, colour management, and file formats suitable for high-quality printing.

Continuous Learning :

Stay updated with design trends, tools and techniques to improve output and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Actively seek feedback and learn from peers and industry trends.

Remuneration :

40-70K / month (Negotiable and commensurate with skills and qualifications)
