Key Responsibilities :
Operations Management :
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
Financial Reporting :
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Tax Compliance :
Manage the preparation and timely filing of all tax returns including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax.System & Process Development :
Develop and implement robust financial systems and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting.Cross-functional Collaboration :
Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and other internal stakeholders to align financial goals with overall business objectives.Budgeting & Forecasting :
Lead the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to aid strategic planning and decision-making.Financial Analysis :
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations supporting the company's strategic objectives.Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure all financial processes and systems comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Team Management :
Manage the accounting team's performance and development through coaching, feedback, and training initiatives.Skills Required
