Job descriptionSupporting the review and approval of product promotional material and regulatory documents, in compliance with corporate standards, government / industry regulations. Providing medical support to product planning and line extensions, new indications, formula changes, opinion leader development, and publication strategies for therapeutic area products. Identifying, developing, and maintaining close professional relationships with influential members / opinion leaders (physicians and researchers) within pertinent medical communities. Remaining informed of current developments within pertinent medical and scientific communities through familiarity with current literature, attendance at meetings, conventions, professional associations, etc. A bachelor's degree in a life science or related field. At least 5 years of experience in medical affairs, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company. Demonstrated expertise in gastroenterology medical affairs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking a Senior Medical Affairs Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing medical strategies, working with cross-functional teams, and providing scientific and clinical expertise to support product planning and commercial efforts.
About the Role
This is a senior role that requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and expertise in gastroenterology medical affairs. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the department's annual product medical strategy.
- Develop and Execute Medical Strategy
- Supports the development and execution of the medical strategy for assigned products; provides overall scientific and medical oversight within assigned therapeutic area.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a matrixed environment, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
