Job description

Summary :

Own software development code, coordinates with internal and external teams to build new platforms, features, and services from scratch

Responsibilities :

Migrate legacy software systems to the latest AWS technologies based system
Identify and automate steps that will reduce the time to migrate
Engage with peer teams to handle dependencies
Ensure industry best practices are followed
Proficiency in Java and AWS services

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

years of non-internship professional software development experience

years of Java programming (concurrency, multi-threading, Dependency Injection -Spring / Guice)

years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling)

Experience with full software development life cycle including superior debugging skills and functional and non-functional testing experience

Good to have experience in CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Memcached, Elasticache, SQL like query languages

years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
