Role Overview

The Publisher Tech Solutions Manager is responsible for the technical onboarding, integration, and ongoing optimization of publisher partnerships at Alkimi Exchange. This role serves as the critical technical bridge between Publisher Sales and live campaign execution, ensuring seamless integration of publishers into the Alkimi platform while maintaining operational excellence and supply quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Publisher Onboarding & Integration

  • Receive and process handovers from Publisher Sales team, including completed onboarding and compliance forms
  • Generate and configure technical credentials including TokenIDs, ads.txt entries, and Publisher Dashboard access
  • Coordinate with publishers on Consent Management Platform (CMP) integration to ensure Alkimi is properly added to their vendor lists
  • Implement reseller lines where applicable to maintain supply chain transparency
  • Provide clear technical documentation and setup instructions to Publisher Sales representatives for client communication

Technical Testing & Validation

  • Configure and test publisher endpoints to establish bid request connectivity
  • Coordinate with publishers to initiate bid request traffic and validate integration
  • Monitor real-time bid requests to verify proper OpenRTB formatting and data completeness
  • Troubleshoot technical discrepancies including latency issues, request formatting errors, and integration failures
  • Validate ads.txt implementation across all publisher domains to ensure compliance and prevent unauthorized reselling
  • Quality Assurance & Go-Live

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-launch testing across multiple validation points :
  • Bid request reception and processing
  • Ad rendering and display accuracy
  • Click-through tracking functionality
  • Revenue reporting accuracy and reconciliation
  • Page load latency impact assessment
  • Advertiser campaign delivery verification
  • Confirm go-live status internally, enabling Publisher Sales to communicate launch to clients
  • Establish baseline performance metrics for ongoing optimization
  • Ongoing Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitor domain-level performance and bid request quality
  • Validate reporting accuracy and investigate discrepancies
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues affecting publisher performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Ad Ops, Business Development, Engineering) to optimize yield and fill rates
  • Required Qualifications

    Technical Skills

  • Programmatic Advertising Technology : Deep understanding of header bidding, Prebid.js / Prebid Server, SSP operations, and OpenRTB protocols
  • Ad Tech Standards : Proficiency with ads.txt, sellers.json, supply chain object (SupplyChain), and TCF compliance frameworks
  • Integration Expertise : Experience with VAST / VPAID endpoints, CTV integrations, and various ad formats
  • Technical Troubleshooting : Ability to diagnose bid request issues, latency problems, and integration failures using debugging tools and log analysis
  • API & Web Technologies : Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and basic web development concepts
  • Technical Reasoning : These skills are essential because the role requires hands-on configuration of complex programmatic advertising integrations. Understanding OpenRTB protocols enables effective troubleshooting of bid request issues, while ads.txt / TCF knowledge ensures compliance with industry standards that protect both publishers and the platform from fraud and regulatory violations.

    Experience
