ARKO is the sixth largest convenience store operator in the United States, and operates more than 3,800 sites across its retail, wholesale, and fleet segments.

• Perform accounting for various transactions of the business and ensure they are properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the financial statements
• Analyze financial data and use independent judgment for purposes of identifying variances, when possible resolving accounting operating system issues, compiling statistical information and developing procedures to improve current processes
• Research a wide variety of financial topics in order to provide information or recommendations that impact the organizations operations
• Responsible for general ledger entries, reconciliations and financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and practices
• Conform and adhere to internal controls over accounting procedures as set forth by upper management
• Interfaces frequently with various levels within the organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance Preferred
• General Ledger Accounting and reconciliation experience in a corporate environment
• Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products ( Word and Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines
• High level of Excel skills
• Experience completing detailed accounting schedules
• Strong computer, presentation and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented with excellent time management skill
