Design Engineer – Mechanical

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Design Engineer – Mechanical to join our Product Design team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine design and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop machine components and assemblies as per product requirements.

Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation using Solid Edge / SolidWorks.

Apply GD&T principles and ensure adherence to design standards and specifications.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain design documentation.

Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams for design validation and improvement.

Apply basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and sheet metal design.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Competencies :

Proficiency in Solid Edge / SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.

Strong understanding of machine design , GD&T , and engineering standards .

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
