Job description

We are looking for a talented writer with exceptional critical thinking and analysis skills to create business content that educates, informs and entertains. As a valued member of our content team, you will create high-quality content that readers will truly enjoy.

The content writer will create blog posts, social media captions, and research articles on business topics. Therefore, prior experience writing about business is an asset. Blog posts will be between 500 and 1000+ words, depending on the subject.

Salary up to 50,000 INR based on qualifications and experience.

Timings; 9 hours job ; timing will be discussed during the interview. THIS IS A FULL-TIME JOB; WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR FREELANCERS.

The Opportunity : Become Our Daily Content Engine

We are seeking a highly skilled and prolific AI & Business Technology Writer to serve as the core content engine for the magazine's daily digital output. This role is perfect for a self-starter with a journalistic mindset who can translate complex AI concepts into immediate, actionable intelligence for Canadian entrepreneurs.

This role requires a dedicated approach to a high-volume, quality-driven workflow : one published article and two social posts per day, driven by one daily email interview.

Core Responsibilities

  • Daily Expert Interviewing : Conduct one focused, high-impact email interview with a Canadian business leader, AI expert, or tech founder every workday to gather unique insights.
  • Daily Article Production : Transform raw interview material into one meticulously researched, engaging article for the website daily (500–800 words), ensuring high editorial standards.
  • Social Content Repurposing : Strategically repurpose the best quotes and most actionable takeaways from the daily article into two high-engagement social media posts (primarily for and X).
  • Research & Vetting : Conduct deep-dive research into Canadian AI policy, adoption trends, B2B tools, and ethical considerations, ensuring all content is factually accurate and relevant to the Canadian SME landscape.
  • SEO Optimization : Apply best-practice SEO principles (keywords, H-tags, internal linking) to maximize the discoverability and long-term value of all published content.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Exceptional Writing & Interviewing : Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively for a B2B audience. Must have experience conducting professional interviews (digital or in-person).
  • Deep Tech Literacy : Strong understanding of core AI concepts (Generative AI, LLMs, Machine Learning) and current technology trends impacting business (SaaS, cloud, automation).
  • Business Acumen : Ability to connect complex technology to tangible business outcomes (ROI, efficiency, sales, marketing). Experience writing for an SME audience is a major asset.
  • Proactive Work Ethic : A self-motivated, organized professional capable of managing a non-negotiable daily deadline and a high-volume content production schedule.
  • Canadian Focus : Familiarity with the Canadian business ecosystem, local tech hubs (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver), and a keen interest in Canadian policy and innovation.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).

Requirements

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of niche / industry or be able to research and write about it at an advanced level
  • Superior grammar skills and close attention to detail as our readers are native English speakers
  • Advanced English writing skills
  • University degree or college diploma preferably in journalism, public relations, English, or marketing.
  • 4+ years experience in a related field in writing, communications, or content capacity agency or other professional experience is looking for a talented writer with exceptional critical thinking and analysis skills to create business content that educates, informs and entertains.
