About the Role :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Privacy Consultant with at least 2 years of relevant experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting privacy initiatives, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR, PDPB, etc.), and helping clients implement robust privacy frameworks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Advise internal teams and / or clients on data privacy regulations including GDPR, India's PDPB / DPDP Act, CCPA, etc.
- Assist in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and risk assessments.
- Support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor compliance with data protection laws and internal privacy policies.
- Assist in incident response planning and breach management support.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to support privacy-by-design and data governance initiatives.
- Conduct training and awareness programs for staff or clients on data privacy best practices.
