About the Role :

We are seeking a Platform Engineer with strong experience in building modern cloud-native systems and a keen interest in migrating legacy on-prem applications to cloud. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in AWS serverless technologies and has hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, while also being comfortable learning and adapting to legacy environments (such as Solaris or MV database systems).

If you enjoy solving complex challenges, modernizing legacy stacks, and enabling scalable architectures, this role is for you.

Tech Stack :

Backend : AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Node.js

Frontend : React / Next.js, React Native (Good to Have)

Programming Languages : TypeScript, JavaScript, Python

Infrastructure : Terraform, GitHub Actions / CI-CD Pipelines

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient backend services using Node.js and AWS Lambda.
• Lead or contribute to migration initiatives transitioning on-prem or legacy workloads to modern cloud environments.
• Implement and optimize serverless architectures leveraging AWS services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).
• Write clean, testable, and efficient TypeScript / Node.js code aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate backend APIs with modern frontend frameworks (React / React Native).
• Implement and maintain security, monitoring, and backup strategies.
• Drive automation and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) adoption using Terraform.
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and propose solutions aligned with cloud-first principles.
• Support CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve delivery speed and reliability.
• Foster a culture of learning, ownership, and innovation within the engineering team.
