This position will be based at Vadodara / Ahmednagar Plant for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (A unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.)

Designation : General Manager - New Product Quality Management

Experience : 10 years to 15 years

Education : B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical / Production Engineering)

Key Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for Quality management of New Product Development of Electrical Standard Products (ESP).

2. Responsible for implementing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) of all the offers of ESP.

3. Lead Project quality and Offer quality of New product development.

4. Establish and propagate APQP as per IATF 16949 across the NPD project scope. Develop and train team for in depth implementation of APQP.

5. Provide technical and administrative support related to Quality tools and techniques for robust Product development.

Functional Competencies :

1. In depth knowledge of APQP as per IATF standard with multiple cycle of implementation from Phase 1 to Phase 5.

2. In depth knowledge & hands on experience of implementation of Quality tools such as PPAP, PFMEA, SPC and MSA.

3. In depth knowledge & hands on experience of usage of 7 QC tools, 8D, POKA-YOKE, KAIZEN for problem solving.

4. Exposure to manufacturing processes like press working, moulding, welding, breazing, surface treatment, press & machining etc.

5. Project management skill will be an added advantage.

6. Analytical approach, Proficient with working in SAP, Microsoft office tools.
