Sales and Operations Planning (SNOP) Process Leadership :
- Lead the end-to-end SNOP process, from demand planning to production and inventory management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate monthly SNOP meetings with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Production, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to review forecasts, capacity, and inventory levels.
- Ensure timely identification of supply and demand gaps and develop actionable solutions to address these challenges.
Demand Forecasting and Planning :
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to gather insights and data for accurate demand forecasting.Use advanced forecasting techniques to generate monthly, quarterly, and annual demand plans.Monitor and analyse sales trends, customer orders, and market conditions to adjust forecasts and identify demand fluctuations.Production and Supply Planning :
Work closely with Production, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, production capacity, and finished goods.Align production schedules with forecasted demand, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory.Develop strategies to manage inventory levels and optimize stock turns.Inventory Management :
Oversee inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce obsolete or slow-moving inventory, and minimize holding costs.Implement inventory control measures and ensure a balance between demand and supply without overproduction or excess stock.Financial Alignment :
Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure that SNOP plans align with financial goals and constraints, ensuring cost-effective operations.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, stockouts, and order fulfilment rates, and work with teams to drive continuous improvement.Process Improvement :
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SNOP process to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.Implement best practices, tools, and technologies to optimize forecasting, planning, and overall supply chain performance.Lead post-mortem analysis of past SNOP cycles to identify areas for improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Act as the central point of contact for SNOP-related inquiries and decision-making.Foster strong relationships and clear communication between departments to ensure alignment on supply and demand plans.Risk Management :
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and production processes (e.g., raw material shortages, production delays) and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.Lead the process of adjusting plans to reflect changes in demand, production capabilities, or external factors (e.g., regulatory changes, raw material availability).Critical Skills

Nature of Experience
Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projectsDuration of Experience
