Key Responsibilities :

Installation and Configuration : Setting up database instances according to defined standards and documentation.

Monitoring and Maintenance : Monitoring database performance, storage space, and logs for any issues.

Basic Troubleshooting : Identifying and resolving common database problems, such as connection errors or simple query issues.

Backup and Recovery : Performing routine database backups and participating in recovery procedures.

Performance Tuning : Assisting with basic performance tuning tasks, such as index management.

Documentation : Documenting configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Security : Implementing and maintaining basic database security measures.

Required Skills :

Basic SQL Knowledge : Understanding of SQL syntax and database concepts.

Experience with MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL : Familiarity with the core administration tools and concepts of each database platform.

Operating System Knowledge : Understanding of the operating systems where databases are installed.

Troubleshooting Skills : Ability to identify and resolve basic database issues.
