Job Description : General Manager (Marketing) - Contract Manufacturing, Based in Bangalore.

We are looking for a proven salesperson with a dynamic personality and strong business acumen to manage Private Defense contractors. Knowledge of the Indian Defense and Aviation market is required to explore ways of leveraging existing products and services to increase profitability of the Organization. The position calls for working in the Market and independently reporting to the VP Operations. Additionally, this role will require the person to study the various business opportunities within the Large Defense Contractors and convert them into orders. Should take the end-to-end responsibility from conceptual stage to project completion. It also includes working closely with customers to identify new product opportunities to expand various product lines in line with market trends. This role is a great fit for a proven leader who has the entrepreneurial spirit and the ambition to take the organization to the next level.

Location : Jigani, Bangalore, Karnataka

Qualification : Graduate in Engineering preferably with a major in Electronics (MBA will be preferred)

Experience : Minimum 7 to 10 years working in a managerial position marketing Defense / Aviation related products for Defense and Civil applications.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :

  • Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques with Excellent Communication skills.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends by studying competitors' products and services.
  • Identifying target markets and developing product / marketing strategies.
  • Preparing and managing marketing plans and budgets.
  • Procurement procedures, DPP and managing the production of promotional material.
  • Liaising with other internal departments such as production and distribution to produce reports for monitoring results.
  • Presenting findings and suggestions to Company directors / Senior management.
  • Travelling to trade shows, Conferences and Sales meetings.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
