Qualification : B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical or Automation or Production Engineering

Location : Mumbai (Andheri East & Kandivali)

Working Days : 6 Days

Role Overview :

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Operations Sr. Manager to lead multi-site operations, drive operational excellence, and deliver sustainable profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in greenfield / brownfield project execution, manufacturing strategy, planning, quality and automation and especially within the jewellery, automotive, heavy engineering, or similar precision-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Operations

Lead and manage end-to-end operations across multi-location units.
Align manufacturing operations with business objectives to improve cost-efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing and business strategies.
Successfully execute Greenfield / Brownfield projects from concept to commissioning.

2. Operational Excellence & Systems

Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) frameworks using :

o Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Multi-skilling, etc.

Drive continuous improvement across workflows to enhance performance and eliminate waste.

3. Automation & Digital Transformation

Lead automation initiatives including robotics, AI-driven systems, and digital process optimization.

Contribute to strategic technology projects focused on enhancing capacity and process reliability.

4. Quality, EHS & Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, statutory compliance, and EHS protocols across all sites.

5. People Development

Build and nurture high-performance teams across workforce segments.

Foster a culture of safety, discipline, innovation, and accountability.

Education :

B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical or Automation or Production Engineering

Alumni of reputed institute

Experience :

Minimum 15 years in plant operations, manufacturing, or works management

At least 7–10 years in senior leadership roles

Exposure to automobile, auto-ancillary, jewellery, heavy engineering, process industry, or similar sectors
