Position Summary :

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the design and development of software to meet business requirements whilst positively influencing other staff, development practices and department processes.

These solutions are designed and developed "from the ground up" enabling a long term, future proof and fit for purpose solution. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a successful and critical area of the business.

The new Senior Software Developer will bring their proven full stack development experience to a creative, innovative, flexible, and pro-active team. The development practices of the team are agile and pragmatic. We’re looking for like-minded people who want to both learn and help develop practices that make us become more and more successful.

Our Ideal Person will bring :

• A minimum of 4 years proven experience in a full-stack development role
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
• Essential technology languages : C# and WPF (we need to see evidence of the use of WPF technology on your CV)
• Proven experience with Microsoft SQL the database
• Proven experience using the NET core framework / .NET Framework is desirable
• Previous experience working in an in-house development team
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills & strong numerological / mathematical skills
• A commitment to a full-time site based role in New Delhi – working hours somewhat reflective of UK GMT
• Previous experience working with a UK based business
• Shared ideas, and open and honest approach, and a desire to be fully immersed in collaboration and contribution

In this role, you will :

pair programming, modern language features and tools where appropriate to solve problems efficiently, whilst adopting a pragmatic approach to solution design
