TCS is looking for Manual Testing Processes and Management applications

Experience range : 5-10 years

Location : Kolkata

Required technical skill set :

  • 5+ years of experience in testing of front end / Web applications.
  • Experience with front-end test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or Jasmine etc.).
  • Understanding of React and / or Angular, including component lifecycles, state management, and routing.
  • Hands-On experience in using automated tools and frameworks for Cross-browser / OS / device testing.
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Roles and responsibilities :

  • 5+ years of experience in testing of front end / Web applications.
  • Experience with front-end test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or Jasmine etc.).
  • Understanding of React and / or Angular, including component lifecycles, state management, and routing.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for front-end applications built with React and / or Angular.
  • Execute manual tests across various browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Jest / Enzyme for React, or Karma / Jasmine for Angular.
  • Ensuring the application works as expected on popular browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and potentially older versions or less common browsers.
  • Verifying functionality across different operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
  • Confirming the application adapts and displays correctly on various device types, such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, with different screen sizes and resolutions.
  • Evaluate the user interface and user experience for intuitiveness, accessibility, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Work closely with front-end developers, UI / UX designers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
