We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Relationship Manager (RM) with experience in Mortgage Loans and Loan Against Property (LAP). The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of retail lending products, customer acquisition, and relationship management. This role is pivotal in driving loan sales, managing customer relationships, and ensuring a seamless borrowing experience.
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for sourcing new clients, maintaining long-term relationships with customers, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized mortgage and LAP solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Business Development
- Source and acquire new customers for Mortgage Loans and Loan Against Property through cold calling, referrals, and market visits.
- Build strong networks with real estate agents, builders, chartered accountants, and other referral partners.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly loan disbursal targets.
- Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing personalized financial solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing queries, resolving issues, and providing timely support.
- Loan Processing & Documentation
- Guide customers through the end-to-end process of mortgage loans and LAP.
- Collect, verify, and review customer documents to ensure compliance with credit and risk policies.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and legal teams for loan approvals and disbursements.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the mortgage and LAP space.
- Provide insights to management on customer needs, market opportunities, and product enhancements.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for other financial products.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Adhere to internal policies, credit guidelines, and compliance standards.
- Ensure accurate customer profiling, risk assessment, and documentation.
- Maintain transparency and ethical practices in all customer interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in Mortgage Loans, Loan Against Property, or Retail Banking.Strong knowledge of mortgage products, LAP processes, and credit policies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to understand customer requirements and offer tailored financial solutions.Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM / loan management systems.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. MBA / PGDM preferred but not mandatory.
