Position : Sales Officer
Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Industry : Sports Goods / Sports Equipment / Sporting Accessories
Experience : 3–6 Years (Preferably in sports goods, fitness equipment, or FMCG / retail sports category)
Qualification : Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred
Job Purpose :
To achieve sales targets in the assigned territory by developing strong relationships with dealers, distributors, institutions, and retail partners in the sports industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as per company objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with retailers, distributors, and sports academies.
- Identify new business opportunities in the sports goods and accessories market.
- Handle product promotion, sampling, and branding activities at field level.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Ensure proper availability, visibility, and placement of products in stores.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns and events.
- Collect market feedback and provide inputs for product development.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain credit discipline.
- Prepare daily / weekly sales reports and update CRM or sales dashboards.
Key Skills Required :
Strong communication and negotiation skills.Knowledge of local sports market and distribution network.Self-motivated and target-oriented with a go-getter attitude.Willing to travel extensively within Gujarat.Ability to handle both institutional and retail sales.Salary Range :
₹3 – ₹5 LPA (Negotiable based on experience)
