Job description
  • Design & Documentation
  • Prepare, review, and submit architectural drawings as per local development control regulations (DCR) and building bye-laws.
  • Ensure all designs are compliant with applicable codes and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, etc.) to prepare approval drawings.
  • Government Liaisoning & Approvals
  • Liaise with statutory bodies such as BMC / MCGM, MMRDA, MHADA, SRA, Airport Authority, MOEF, Fire, and other local authorities for necessary project approvals.
  • Manage submission of drawings, documents, and applications to government departments.
  • Track, follow up, and secure timely sanctions / permissions for projects.
  • Handle regulatory compliances related to RERA, environmental clearances, occupancy certificates, commencement certificates, IOD, etc.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as a bridge between internal design / construction teams and external authorities.
  • Collaborate with project head, legal, and liaison consultants to ensure smooth approval processes.
  • Provide inputs to project planning team on approval timelines and regulatory risks.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Updates
  • Stay updated on changes in DCR, building codes, and environmental regulations .
  • Advise management on regulatory implications during project planning stages.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all approvals and correspondences.
