Summary

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Healthcare Quality Measure and Reporting software.
  • Analyze and tune performance of stored procedures.
  • Analyze business requirements and specifications to determine an optimal

development strategy and timeline.

  • Participate in Industry Certification activities, particularly annual NCQA HEDIS

    • certification.

  • Provide Quality Measures assistance to Customer Support and Project

    • Management.

  • Provide development assistance to DevOps and QA in cases of job failures or

    • errors.

  • Deploy Healthcare Quality Measure Software.
  • Attend Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting / Sprint planning / Backlog refinement) on

    • assigned project.

    Experience & Skills Required :

  • 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development , with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake .
  • Strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake-specific features (e.g., Virtual Warehouses, Time Travel, Streams, Tasks).
  • Expert-level SQL programming with a focus on complex query writing and stored procedure development .
  • Proven experience in query and performance optimization within Snowflake or similar MPP databases.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling techniques — Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience working with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating with Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in Python or SQL scripting for automation and data transformation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

    • Preferred :

    Working experience with HL7 and healthcare interfaces

    Working experience with healthcare claims a plus.

    Exposure to C# / .NET a plus.

    Healthcare Industry knowledge
