Job Title Senior DevOps Engineer Platform Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for creating and implementing systems that optimize our software development and production infrastructure The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of microservices opensource software and cloud environments

Key Responsibilities

Design and Implement Automation Solutions Develop secure automation solutions for development testing and production environments

Manage CICD Tools Maintain and enhance CICD pipelines to accelerate software development and deployment

System Architecture and Documentation Develop and maintain system architecture design and documentation

Collaborate with Teams Work closely with development IT and security teams to streamline workflows and ensure system reliability

Monitoring and Performance Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring logging and alerting solutions to ensure system integrity and performance

Security and Compliance Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues Identify troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in development test and production environments

Continuous Improvement Identify and implement various development pipeline improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field

Experience Several years of professional experience in systems engineering and IT operations ideally in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role

Cloud Expertise Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud

Containerization Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker for managing container solutions

Automation Tools Expertise in automation tools like Jenkins Ansible GitHub Actions

Scripting and Programming Strong skills in scripting languages eg Python Bash and programming languages eg Go Java

Infrastructure As Code Strong proficient in developing IaC through Terraform and Ansible

Certifications Relevant certifications in cloud computing DevOps or security

Experience with Microservices Strong understanding of microservices architecture
